Posted on November 22, 2010
The Dalbeag is a typical sandy beach found on the Isle of Lewis of which there are many. This specific little beach is on the West coast looking out into the Atlantic where the next stop would be Canada. A side road from the main road leads down to the beach which is usually always deserted except for a few visitors. The area has some historical interest such as the remains of stone buildings and natural interest as there is a loch nearby sometimes with swans.
